Playground Safety Personnel and Programming

The goal of the Playground Safety: Personnel and Programming course is for early learning professionals to follow state regulations and the best practices of recognized industry authorities to provide safe outdoor play environments through appropriate inspection and maintenance of equipiment, direct supervision of children in the play area, and appropriately planning for activities and emergencies. While licensed child care programs should always adhere to the licensing requirements as applicable for Child Care Learning Centers or Family Child Care Learning Homes, information obtained through this training may help more adequately align programs with national standards and quality best practices.
